This Whipped Chocolate Ganache is one of my favorite frostings. It only has four ingredients, is so simple to make, and goes well with a variety of different cakes and desserts.
A Whipped Chocolate Ganache is similar to a whipped cream, but the addition of the chocolate keeps it much more stable as a frosting. This frosting is made by heating cream to pour over chocolate to form a chocolate ganache. Once the ganache has cooled, it is whisked to form a fluffy chocolate frosting. The frosting will keep well stored in the fridge for a couple of days.
This chocolate frosting is light, perfectly sweet, and so easy to make. I personally prefer a whipped cream frosting to a buttercream, and this is one of my favorites. If you give it a try, I’d love to know what you think!
